Awwwwww yeah!
Jul. 14th, 2006 08:55 pmSo, as I mentioned earlier, I got a rather spiffy raise today. About six and a half percent, actually. They gave me the maximum weekly raise, plus a bit extra, because they think I'm so wonderful. Financial independence, here I come! Not just yet, but I'm getting there.
My review was basically as follows:
"We love you we love you we love you you're awesome. Please don't ever leave!" My immediate supervisor described me as "a gift to the department." If I had any doubts about how I was doing at work, they are completely gone now. :)
Mom, Dad, and I went out to Stir Crazy to celebrate. Mom split a Baby Buddha with me. It was fun!
I get another review with the potential for another raise in six months. Let's hope the next one is just as good, if not better!
