MY totally awesome little brother graduated from Lincoln Tech today with HIGH honors!

I am now officially related to an excellent mechanic!

NO MORE AMDA! That's right ladies and geklefinns, Yours Truly has graduated from The American Musical and Dramatic Academy after four loooong semester that at times seem to have flown by. I am extremely elated, especially since I finally moved out of the hell hole known as the Stratford Arms, and back home, where I have a warm cozy bed, a warm cozy puppy, a mom who wants to spoil me for a while, and no cockroaches. But more on that later...

The graduation ceremony was nice. It was at The Society for Ethical Culture on W. 64th St. It started at 11, but all of the graduates had to be at AMDA's 61st St. building at 9:30AM. Why? Because they had to check everyone in, and then get all 160 of us into an alphabetical line in order to walk to 64th. You may think this was a very silly idea, but there was no way to line us all up at 64th, so it was the only way.

Jim Dale was our speaker. He was the original PT Barnum in Barnum, and he recorded all of the Harry Potter books. He's very funny.

Mom bought a new video camera the day before, so I videoed all of my friends at the reception. It was quite fun.

Mom Dad & I went to this place called Carmine's on Broadway between 90th and 91st. It's all family style Italian, and absolutely delicious! The Tiramisu was so good, I just don't have the words to describe it.

So now I'm home to stay, and have a room full of stuff to unpack. Fun and games.

I don't mind too much, though. Because I never have to deal with AMDA school houseing ever again! No more scalding hot or freezing cold showers, no more lack of water with no notice, no more noisy neighbors, no more crazy tennants, no more mice in the kitchen, no more disgusting stoves, no more family visitor passes, no more "no outside visitor" policys, no more life sucking flourescent lights, no more RA's who are never around when you need them, no more friends bugging me when I'm trying to nap, no more Rent playing somewhere in the building 24/7...you get the point.

Mommy decided to take me shopping today. I got up early so we could get out early, and we got to the mall, and nothing was open. Apparently the town of Clarkstown said they couldn't open until 1PM. Stupid people.
Eventually everything opened, and I got the Two Towers sound track, some pretty candles, and a fairy dust necklace. Yay!
