This is in reference to this post.

I tried [livejournal.com profile] woodchuck665's suggestion about the sharpie, but the leather is too dark for it to make a difference.

So I went to the shoe repair kiosk at the Palisade's Center to see if they had purple shoe polish, as per [livejournal.com profile] damnitnicole. There was a slot on the rack for purple, but alas, it was empty. The man behind the counter was busy doing something on a very loud machine, so I didn't bother him.

Now that I know purple shoe polish exists, I decided to search online and see if I can find it anywhere else.

I found one place, here. The purple looks like it will be perfect. Only one problem:

They have a ten dollar minimum for orders.

So now I have to figure out where else might carry purple shoe polish. Any ideas? There's one shoe repair place in my town, but the man who owns it is a hack and a con (can you tell I've had bad experiences there?) so I don't want to go there.

Go back to the place in the mall and don't be a wimp?

Try that, first.

Otherwise, I would just get a whole bunch of different colors of shoe polish to get it up to $10. You never know when colored shoe polish will come in handy. I can think of plenty of times when I've wished for it, and I would totally go in with you on it for that reason, except I'm typically broke
