I keep forgetting to ask you this every time I actually talk to you, so I'm posting it here:
How do I purchase a cell-phone in Sims 2? They all keep wanting one, but I can't seem to find it. Thanks!

There is a new object for community lots. I don't remember the exact name, and if I open the game to find it, I'm afraid I will lose my soul again and never get to move to Rochester. In any case, it is an electronics booth of sorts, where your Sim can buy a cell phone or a hand-held video game. It already exists in many of the pre-fab campus community lots as well.

Item of note: Cell phones are awesome. Your Sim doesn't have to run to answer the phone anymore, and when his/her back pocket is ringing, s/he rarely misses calls.

The handheld video game, however, is BAD. You know how real life boyfriends pick up video games and forget to call? or maybe lose track of time and miss work? or don't think about sleeping? Autonomous Sims will ALWAYS play in free moments, and they don't stop unless instructed. One of my Sims got fired for it. FOR A VIDEO GAME! silliness.

Yes, so... cell phone = thumbs up, video game = thumbs down, all can be found in community lots. : )
