Mar. 17th, 2004 02:53 pmMom nature, you and I need to have a little talk. These weather stunts you've been pulling are just not cool.
Monday it was so warm I hung my laundry on the line to dry. Tuesday you dropped six inches of snow on our heads. It's snowing again today as we speak.
It's March, for crying out loud! I know they say "In like a lion, out like a lamb," but it's the seventeenth already, and I see no signs of sheep, unless you count piles of fluffy white snow that sort of resemble sheep if I take my contacts out and squint.
It's not that I don't appreciate all of your wonderful aspects, Mother Nature. I love sunsets and rain showers, and even snow. However, I am a firm believer in the "everything in moderation" way of life, and this is just too much with the snow.
Cut it out already! Give me springtime, please!
Sincerely,
Leslie
