I hate bugs...

My desk has ants. This is not ok.

They were under AND on it. One of the guys from the shop came and sprinkled poison all over the floor beneath my desk, in the hopes that it will kill all of the little bastards. The girl who sits next to me had the same problem last week, and apparently they just relocated instead of dying slow and terrible little ant-y deaths like they should have.

I just hope they don't try to sneak home with me in my bags...

it works on slugs too cause they're mostly water.

if you take some powdered bleach like borax and mix it with sugar and put it in a container and hide it somewhere near the ants but where it won't get knocked over or too close to food the ants will eat it and bring it back to their nest and the borax will kill 'em.

I've used boric acid before, and let me tell ya, that stuff WORKS. I figure if I see more today, I'll pick something like that up.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the stuff they put down takes care of the problem itself.

I'd be grateful for ants... I mean, last spring, the office problem was mice.
