I would just like to say that I love evening classes, because it means I get to sleep all day. And I get lots of free hot chocolate, which is very cool. :) (Or hot, depending on how you look at it.)

So I was using one of the computers in the Lincoln Center Library, right? I was signed up to use the internet from 3:30-4. The computer they orignally assinged me wasn't working, so I moved over one.
This girl comes up to me: "That's NOT your computer!"
Me: "That one wasn't working, so I'm using this one."
Girl: "Well, it's my turn anyway."
Me: (Looking at my watch) "No. I still have five more minutes."
(Five minutes later...)
Girl: "Get off now! It's my turn!"
Patti: "Can't you see she's signing off? Calm down!"
There were like three other kids with this girl, all below 15, all being rude and noisy. Patti and I put in a complaint about them. Little brats.

My deepest sympathies. It would be really nice if kids actually got taught to behave themselves.

When I was India over the summer my cousin's kid was also a brat. He bit, he screamed, and he refused to consume anything other than chocolate and Pepsi--and his parents wondered why he was hyperactive! And the kid is 6.

I normally don't advocate spankings, but that was the only thing that would work. He didn't like my mom cause she would not let him get away with anything. His parents, however....
