Groundhog Day

Happy day on which men in large black hats poke a poor, defenseless, confused rodent with a stick so that they may see whether or not the sun is shining, and therefore predict the weather for the coming weeks.

What happened to the SNOW and DOOM that was supposed to rain down upon us last night? It's barely even damp out! I'm not paying any attention to the weather report from now on. They can't seem to get it right, any of them!

Yeah, right? I walked out of here last night, and I was like, "Snow? It's not going to snow! It doesn't smell anything like snow!" I was right!

Yes, and I wanted a snow day. One, just one...is that too much to ask?? If it waits to snow until I'm on break in a few weeks I'm going to be more than a little pissed off!!
