I just called my doctor's office. Apparently, my doctor left, and I was not notified. They also won't give me a new prescription for my allergy medication unless I come in for an appointment.

Who the fuck has time for a doctor's apointment? I AM WORKING SEVEN DAYS A WEEK, ASSHOLE.
I've been taking the stuff since I was twelve. They have my medical records.

My doctor told me that since I'm young and healthy, I didn't have to have a checkup for three years. It's been two. I told that to them, and they said, "Well, that doctor isn't here any more."

Fuck this shit. I'm getting another fucking doctor.

The Gov. has been cracking down on Doctors giving perscriptions without seeing the patient. They must see you once every 6 months to cover thier ass. If they aren't your regular Doctor they have to see you. History doesn't matter, you'll have the same problem where ever you go. It is thier license that they are protecting.

Use sick time to go to the doctor, thats what it is for. Is work more important than your health?

They gave me a new prescription for a different medication without seeing me about six months ago. They didn't even ask when the last time I'd been in was.
