There is no way that any sort of economic assistance package is going to be NOT messy. I just hope that they can work something out that's a little bit better than what they have now.
Of course, part of me is thinking, "You know, they can just leave the housing market in the shitter for a little while. That'll give us some time to get ourselves to the point where we can buy a house." That's just me, though. ;)
