I am the nose goblin!

Hrrmmmm...lessee....where did I leave off? Oh yes, that's right. I have an entire week to write about.
I was forced to work at Outback Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. They tried to make me work Thursday as well, but that bit comes later.
I have decided that Outback is not my main job; it's just something I do during the week for a little extra money. Considering I make more than twice as much at Faire as I do there, this conclusion is extremely logical. I have also come to the conclusion that I don't like it as much there as I originally thought I did. I think it's the fact that I have to deal with people, and bitchy co-workers. And the atmosphere is waaaaaay too up-tight.
Anyway, I had planned to go up to Paltz on Wednesday night after work with Aziraphale (who, for those of you who haven't either been told or figured it out on your own, has been my boyfriend for two and a half weeks.) The plan was for me to stay until Friday. So, of course, they put me on the schedule for Thursday. This was completely unexpected because of the whole working Monday Tuesday Wednesday thing. ::Growl:: Luckily Aldwin is a really nice guy, and he covered for me.
Wenesday we were told to stop seating people at one point, because the kitchen was uber backed-up. Yay.
And you know what really bothers me? People who think I don't know what I'm doing just because they don't work with me that often. ::Growl::
I ended up getting let off early on Wednesday, which was super cool because it meant that I got to go to New Paltz early. I have finally officially met all but one of the housemates, and all of the domesticated creatures.
Thursday I wore my new bodice and chemise to try and break the bodice in a bit before the weekend. Then the electricity left, which was fun. During the blackout we went pentacle shopping. At the first shop we went to, (the name of which I seem to have developed a mental block against) we were told that the blackout may have been terrorism, and that it might last a few days. Wahoo.
We decided to keep shopping, since there was nothing better to do. So we went to the Awareness Shop. I found my pentacle there. It's a fairy with the pentacle hanging off her foot, and it's silver. It looks great with my drama necklace and leather choker, but here's the best part:
It was forty-two dollars. Now, when you find the perfect necklace, and you turn it over, and it says that very special number, you know it's right. I had them set it aside for me, because they had no electricity, and I had no cash.
We had fluffernutters and goldfish crackers for dinner, since we had no stove and Aziraphale didn't want to let me make fire in the back yard. :P
After dinner was interesting, to say the least. I got a text message from Megan asking me if she could call me, it was important. My phone wasn't working because of the blackout, so I told her so. Then she messaged me saying that her uncle had committed suicide tonight. Aziraphale and I both thought she was talking about Wyrd Cousin, so of course, we panicked. It took us about half an hour to get throught to Megan on the single landline phone in the house. When we finally got in touch with her, she told us that it was a different uncle. Our panic was unfounded. Although we were still very sorry for Megan's loss, we were relieved. :)
The power came back on sometime in the middle of the night, so the next day we went out to pick up my necklace. The credit card thingy wasn't functioning, so we walked over to the deli to get some cash. Luckily, the ATM there was working.
Eventually we brought me home, and I went to bed, and that brings us to...
Saturday was pretty good. I sold 99 roses, and made over a hundred bucks again. WOOT!
Oh, and by the way, SATAN'S GOT YOUR NOSE!!!!!!!! (If you are very confused, it probably means that you weren't at faire this weekend. Loser. :P)
Sunday friggin' RAWKED!!!! I started out with 42 roses, (there's that number again!) I sold like ten of them before ten-thirty, which is always a good sign. Firebow surprised the bejeezes out of me when he showed up. It was a good surprise, though. Aziraphale, M!ke, and company were around all day. Hermione Wyrd made an appearance, and all is well with the world.
I sold 100 roses Sunday. :) Today, however, I have to go work at Outback. I'm doing To Go, though, so I won't have to deal with people as much. Tomorrow I'm going into the city for Patti's birthday. I still have to figure out how I'm doing that...
Anyway, I'm off to be productive now.
