This is that there meme where I explain about these five things, and then you comment and I give you five things I associate with you to explain.

1. Roses Roses are pretty, and they smell good! What's not to like? I've been selling them at NYRF for seven years now, and have been top seller for the last six. This past season, I was completely undefeated. (Heh. I never did post my numbers from this season, did I? Oops.) I have photos on my desk at work of the lavender roses Rich sent me on the first Valentine's Day when I had an office job. I even still have the first three roses he gave me dried at my mother's house! I love all the different colors and varieties, and one day when I have my own house I might even plant my own rose bush.

2. Lush Ahhhhh...soap! If I recall correctly, I was introduced to this lovely stuff by [livejournal.com profile] lollipopmilitia. Since I started using their products on my face, my skin has improved vastly. There was a point where it was very difficult for me to have a face-to-face conversation with my mother because she would just keep looking at my skin and going, "WOW!" I love that they don't test any of their products on animals. Yeah, they may be a little bit more expensive than your standard drug store brands, but their products are very high quality and worth every penny. I'm a big fan of the bubble bath, and their bubble bars make for the best ones I've ever had. If LUSH had a sell-from-home type program, I would be set. I've gotten TONS of my friends hooked on the stuff, and plan on spreading the love even further. My mother and I are going to the Paramus store tonight to stock up. :)

3. Hoyers For the uninitiated, Hoyer's is the best ice cream stand in the world. It's in West Haverstraw, NY, and I've been going there all my life. Back when I wanted to be famous, I was quite certain that once I acheived fame and fortune they would name my signature sundae after me: chocolate ice cream with chocolate sprinkles, crushed marachino cherries, whipped cream, and a cherry on top. They serve mostly soft ice cream, and it's wonderful. When Snowball was alive, she KNEW when we had come back from there and would demand ice cream for herself. We usually got her a small low-fat vanilla. If you ever have a chance, go there! They're open from May to October, I think.

4. Hallmark I worked at the Hallmark store in the Palisades Center for two years while I was in college. I got really into sending cards and things while I worked there. People talk about "Hallmark Holidays," but they really are a good company with good quality products. I never use any other brand of wrapping paper, and I rarely buy any other brand of greeting card. I've started collecting some of the ornaments, as any of you who have seen my Christmas tree will know.

5. Dr. Who [livejournal.com profile] thunderemerald got Rich and I into the new series a while back. I was hooked from the first episode. The episode called Blink scared the ever living CRAP out of me, and I will always love the gas-mask zombies. Once we finished devouring the new series, (Ten/Rose FOREVAR!) I moved on to some of the classics. I think Tom Baker is my favorite Classic Doctor, and I may need to make one of those scarves once I finish the million and one other craft projects I'm working on. I've always been a sci-fi fan, and I can't figure out why it took me so damn long to get into Who. Now, like with LUSH, I feel obligated to spread the love. I've been bugging my mom to come over and watch, along with a few other people.
