Have you ever played with Sculpey? It's great for making dollhouse food. If you want your kitchen to look like dinner's in the process of being made, or have a cherry pie sitting on the sideboard, Sculpey is the ticket.

my aunt cynthia owns a huge victorian house in saratoga springs. she and her husband spent years making a huge scale replica of the house by hand. it's amazingly detailed, right down to the carved banisters and wallpaper. they have 4 cats who live in there from time to time...

My uncle built me a HUGE dollhouse when I was 2 years old. My mother furnished it and I played with it until I was about 8 or 9, but unfortunately, it's been sitting untouched in my basement ever since. My parents and I can't decide what to do with it--whether to give it away or keep it. My uncle, who was more like a grandfather to me, died in 2000 so I'd really rather not give it away. Maybe if I read your entries and see your pictures of your dollhouse, it'll inspire me to do something with mine.
