Holy crap, is it Monday already?!?!?

Opening weekend of NYRF went very well. I was a little worried, since this is the first time I'll be working full time AND doing faire, but I think I can pull it off.

I sold ninety one roses on Saturday, and made an absoulte KILLING in tips. Over half of my customers tipped me, even 'danes! It rocked!

I was SO SORE afterwards, but I still managed to drag myself out of bed to do it all again Sunday.

Sunday was not as good, rose-wise. I only did sixty four, and Liz beat me. :P It was like "Attack of the Zombie Patrons." I'd try to sell someone a rose, they'd glance at my basket and keep on walking. Seriously, people. Get a dictionary. Look up "audience participation," then come back.

I have no clue how much I made in tips Sunday, because I'm a spaz and I left my money pouch back in the rose garden, and didn't realize until I got home. I'm lucky

euph0ra loves me. She found it and is keeping it safe for me.

I think I might start keeping track of my sales in Excel, because that would be neat. Does anyone know of a computer program that would allow me to make a line graph from data I enter?

Starr Faerie, the lady who makes my wings, has mysteriously disappeared this year. I NEED new wings, and the ones they're selling back by chessboard, although very pretty, don't look like they'd hold up to the every day rigors of being a rose girl. Fortunately, I got a super-secret lead about a super-secret person from a super-secret friend, and next weekend I shall be acquiring new wings which, according to the super-secret friend, will be absolutely GORGEOUS. I'm excited.

I'm also thinking of new costume pieces. I'm getting a little sick of the whole bodice thing. Moresca makes a half bodice, but I don't want to pay that much for it, considering I only paid seventy five for mine. Liz has one that she doesn't wear anymore, so she's bringing it in next week for me to try on. If it fits, I'm buying it off of her. If not, I'll look into leather. I want to be able to move and breathe better some days, you know?

The back of my hand got sunburnt. Only one hand, though. How annoying is that?

Ahh, well. Lunch is almost over. Back to the grindstone!
