I've just finished Half Blood Prince. I cried through the last few chapters.

I'm really pissed at JK Rowling right now. Don't get me wrong, the book was good, but... why him???

Very Simple reason it had to be that person. Now Harry has lost....damn...how to say this without giving it away. He has lost anything that was even close to a family...all he has is revenge now. A decent into darkness for book 7.

Ohhhh

Very very true Glen. Goth Potter!

HP vague hints

I don't know Goth Potter as much as an Anakin Skywalker Potter...starting down the dark path. Will he be able to destroy He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named without becoming him? Remeber what he did in the bathroom? Remember what he tried to do on the lawn? Harry has got a mean streak a mile wide when it comes to revenge and it is beginning to really come out now.

Remember:
"Neither can survive while the other lives."

This is gonna be nasty.

How about if Harry falls to darness but is redeemed by the love of (insert name here)?

Remember all the talk about what a ghost is?

He's not entirely "dead" yet. At least, that's what I think.

Ron weasely dies!

Erm... because if he wasn't killed off soon, he'd die of old age anyway?

[identity profile] majicou83.livejournal.com 2005-07-28 02:27 pm (UTC)(link)
Are you reffering to the Weasely?

Or the aged fellow? Can we say "Weekend at Bernies"?

7th book

JKR has said she will be starting it by the end of this year (she's already begun it a bit, but will devote full time to it at that time) - I agree, I cried too - but looking at those around Harry, this death made me feel more (emotionally) than that in Book 5 - I felt more attached, and I think it was a deliberate choice (I believe the character killed knew what was coming and, not so much as "asked for it", but accepted it as the best way to further help Harry in the ultimate battle)..I think book 7 will have to be at least 1000 pages or more just to answer all the loose questions!

E-mail me and we can chat about the books! :-)

See you next weekend at the faire?
