Actually that's acceptable if not ending in a preposition will cause confusion. The ultimate goal is to be understood.

Prepositions?

I didn't notice any ending prepositions. The one phrase ends in "before", but it's being used as an adverb describing when the subject ("no man") acted ("had gone").

As for your father, kick him in the shins for me. :)
