great, just what kids need, im sure. besides the whole lesbian thing in childrens literature, dont they have any new ideas? i'd like to see a new idea for once, instead of rehashing old tired carp.

Well, I don't think it's really *children's* literature, per say. I think they're aiming this one at a slightly more mature audience. You know, the type of young guy that goes "Hurrr...lesbians....coool....hurrrr...."

I just think it's funny that they're trying to pass it off as not having a lesbian character for the sake of having a lesbian character, it's for "diversity." Diversity, my ass. They know their audience, they know who's going to give them money to see this lesbian character.
