As the all-encompassing nerd goddess of all things geeky that I am, I have weather alerts on my computer for the cities that I and many of my good friends live in all over the country. (I would expand that to the world if I had more international friends. ^_^;; )
But anywho, I have been noticing that recently the weather on the east coast has been comparable or even WARMER than the weather out here in sunny Socal!
For example, according to my handy-dandy weather bar, today the temperature at 4pm in Los Angeles is 68, and in New City, NY, where it is already 7pm, it is 69! WTF?! Furthermore, it's a whopping 82 in central Jersey where my parents live and 83 in Philly!
And the Arctic ice sheet is melting. It's become the Arctic coupla ice blocks. This be not good.
Isn't it SCARY? I had the heat on last week, so I figured we could get away with leaving the air conditioners out for another week or two. No such luck. We had to go and get the one for the bedroom last night.
Plus, apparently the April showers got held up somewhere, so we're having them in May.
I forgot to mention that on several days (not necessarily in a row, that would be too easy) the weather in NY or at least NJ was up to 10 degrees warmer than in LA/Glendale, and not because it was still early morning here and already day there. (Or there and here, for you.) Crazy, huh?

The sixty five whole degrees in our bedroom last night was definitely NOT funny.
